Thanks to all who took part in the Drew Summers Memorial Car and Bike Show and Harvest Days. Both these events support downtown Marshfield and the area.
There was low participation for both cruise drive events so none are being scheduled for 2016.
The new event in 2015, the drawing at 7 p.m., proved to be very popular. Some sponsors helped multiple times and have already committed to 2016. See 2015 list.
Many individuals have contributed to the success of the Marshfield Cruisers. It would be impossible to name them individually but you know who you are. Thanks to each of you. Your support means a lot in keeping this event going.
Please support these local events!
For those who are new to the Marshfield cruise-ins, we are not a club and thus there are no dues or fees collected. We depend solely on donations to pay expenses. Checks may be made payable to Marshfield Cruisers and given to Linda or Pat Robertson, Treasurer. Please specify if you intend the donation to go toward expenses or for the drawing.
The drawings for prizes donated by sponsors will return for 2016. See the 2015 list of sponsors elsewhere and be sure to thank the sponsors as you have opportunity. The same format will be used, i.e. one entry per classic vehicle; participants must come to the table and register by 7 p.m. or earlier (look for posted time behind the table) and must be present to win. If a name is called and the winner does not respond, a new name will be drawn.
Watch for the "Cruise-In Tonight" sign to be out on the parking lot on cruise nite.
A table will again be provided for those wanting to display any kind of toy models or die cast. Exhibitors are responsible for the safety of items on display. Any age and gender are welcome to participate.
Ozark Car Events Catalog has been made available to us by Springfield Powder Coating assisted by Sonic Sand-blasting. Thanks guys!
Again, the Cruisers are grateful to Wayne and Margaret Biggs for allowing the cruise-ins to be held at the Biggs Complex. Parking spaces must be made available for customers in front of businesses that are open in the shopping center. Trash must be picked up. A trash bag is provided near the registration table.
The Marshfield Cruisers, above all, wants to provide a safe environment for the cruise-in. For that reason, we ask that you refrain from doing burnouts on the parking lot or engage in any other form of reckless driving.
All are welcome to post photos of their automobiles on the website. Again, contact Gary and if you have not "Liked" the Cruisers on Facebook, please do so.
Please keep your postal mailing address, phone numbers and email addresses up to date so we can contact you if there is a problem.
Hard copies of this flyer/ newsletter are available at the monthly cruise-ins or call Linda at the above number.
During the past year, some of our regular cruise-in participants have passed away, namely Dave Rumley, Ike Clair and Robert Enyart, and others have lost loved ones as well.
On behalf of the Marshfield Cruisers, condolences and thoughts and prayers are extended to everyone in need.
We hope 2016 will be a better year.
Thanks To Our 2015 Sponsors
